Editor/Writer

I've been a freelance editor and writer since 1996. Prior to that, I was a Senior Editor in the Publications Department of Charles River Associates (www.crai.com), an internationally recognized economics consulting firm based in Boston. CRA provides services to government agencies, private corporations, and law firms. While there, I supported PhD and MBA senior research staff by editing and proofreading reports, proposals, presentations, peer-reviewed journal articles, white papers, and documents supporting expert witnesses in litigation cases. The practice areas I worked in included Finance, Energy, Transportation, Metals and Minerals, Plastics, Health Care, and Tax Law. While at CRA, I also wrote for and edited the company’s weekly newsletter and was on the editorial board of the firm’s monthly in-house magazine.

As a freelance editor, I’ve done editing and writing for the economics consulting firms CRA, the Brattle Group (www.brattle.com), and, as noted, PKVerleger LLC and the Marketing Science Institute. I also have edited and expanded white papers for the Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative (http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/wcai/) and have edited reports, marketing materials, and newsletter articles for the ACA Compliance Group (www.acacompliancegroup.com). In addition, I have subcontracted to Oxford Editing to edit academic papers, many written by ESL authors, at the various levels (proofreading to substantive) requested by their clients.
